Natacha
Socio-Aesthetician

Welcome to The Beauty Of Caring CIC

My journey with Socio-Aesthetics began in Brussels, where I first discovered the profound impact of beauty therapy in hospitals. There, I met a woman offering treatments to patients, and it opened my eyes to the healing power of touch, care, and dignity. That moment marked the beginning of a new path.

After returning to France four years later, I trained in Paris and became a fully qualified Socio-Aesthetician  in 2012. Since then, I’ve had the privilege to work with vulnerable women and men across various charitable organisations in Paris, and I completed clinical internships in oncology and Alzheimer’s care.

My passion took me to Singapore for a year, where I volunteered with charities like the 'Singapore Cancer Society' and led social beauty workshops for new mothers. Each step deepened my belief that beauty is more than skin deep—it’s a powerful tool for emotional healing and self-worth.

When I moved to Bristol, I was determined to bring this concept to life in the UK. I began volunteering in local charities, witnessing firsthand how beauty therapy could uplift and restore confidence in those experiencing hardship. In 2021, I joined Eddie from @eddiestreetcuts, who offers free haircuts to the homeless. Alongside him, I provided hygiene manicures and soon after launched The Beauty of Caring CIC.

Our social enterprise introduces a unique, French-born concept of Socio-Aesthetics to Bristol and beyond delivering tailored beauty treatments in medical and community settings to support those facing vulnerability, illness, or social exclusion.

Our aim is to help individuals regain a sense of dignity, self-esteem, and humanity.

Testimony

'I just wanted to say again that I have really enjoyed coming to your beauty group. You run the sessions really well and I have always felt welcome and included. Being able to attend the group has been a real highlight for me over the last few months as it has been something to look forward to and brilliant motivation to get me up and out of the house. It has really helped me to feel more positive when my health and life situations had been getting me down, so thank you very much!' - Beatrix

' I suffer from isolation as I have long - term health conditions from loneliness. I came across this Workshop Via an email from Bristol Women's Voice.  It makes me much happier that I can look after myself a bit better and I have gained confidence to be around others and it makes me smile. I am only unhappy that it will be ending as now I am frightened to have nothing to do.

This is a well needed programme to help all vulnerable person like me!' - Sacha

'Before my session with Natacha, I hadn't let anyone touch my hands in years. I was ashamed of how they looked, my skin was dry, cracked, and I felt invisible. But from the moment she greeted me, I felt safe, seen, and respected. Her approach was gentle, never rushed. It wasn’t just a beauty treatment; it was a moment of care I hadn’t experienced in a long time.' - Meriam

'She talked to me like a person, not a patient or a problem. During the session, I felt like I mattered again. I left not only with softer hands, but with a lighter heart. I didn’t expect to smile that day, but I did. And I still do when I think of it.' - Sally

The Difference between a Social Beauty Therapist and a Beauty therapist

A social beauty therapist has the particularity of having skills in the health and social sectors. The care provided and the advice given (hygiene, choice of products, colors, etc.) are adapted according to the needs expressed by the beneficiary but also according to the needs identified by the team and adapted according to the pathologies and/or social situation.

The social beauty therapist can work in a 1 to 1 session or in collective workshop with vulnerable people. Her work it also has a large part of preparation at home and after a report of the session is always shared with a member of the team where it occurs. Socio-aesthetics allows a complementary accompaniment as well on the physical level as psychological thanks to a technical expertise and a non-medical listening

The beauty therapist is working in a classic beauty salon  and she provides aesthetic care without medical knowledge, to an apparently healthy public.
